The Edg playing against Navi was not the same edg playing against loud.
Every game edg has been improving, especially after a close game/loss.
I didn't watch the t1 v edg game
Against Navi they edged out a win due to raw aim alone, they saw this weakness and improved their strategy and coordination and midrounding. They then used this to stomp T1
Against Liquid they lost because of not understanding the strengths and weaknesses of their comp(tl exposing their Cypher setups and them not aggressive enough on lotus with double duelist). Although they went more aggressive near the end of the 2nd half of lotus, it wasn't enough. Because of this, against loud they played much more aggressive against loud on defense, and took b main control far more often(since liquid kept on pushing and exploiting that Cypher is shit there). I'll admit loud played shit as well by not understanding their lotus comp and playing a shit fracture comp but yeah, Navi and old edg wouldn't get more than 15 rounds over the series against this new edg.
Tldr: in addition to their insane firepower, edg improves after every game that isn't a stomp, and although they are dark horses rn, I can see them winning Champs with their improvement speed(assuming that they don't do a zeta). Navi fans shouldn't be OK losing closely to edg because that was a shit edg they played against.
