I think anyone who speaks multiple languages would advice you to not take language classes and just learn by immersion

Chinese and Thai are some of the funnest and at the same time, one of the most frustrating lang to learn. I'd say go for it, you'll thank yourself in the future.
Likely not because hard to learn and takes long, but obviously Chinese/China is such a massive language/country with massive market so can be really useful in work life if its international.
