Oh, I’m sorry. Is your six figure salary to play a video game for a living not enough to play a BO3 a week? What else can we do to make sure that you are stress free, cushy, and never put at a disadvantage? It started when there was a single elim format for lock/in and the pro scene began complaining about no double elim, as if getting an all inclusive paid trip to São Paulo to play VALORANT wasn’t enough incentive to participate in a format that resulted in the best tournament of VALORANT so far? Now they’re complaining that there are too many games (one a f——— week btw) which makes their lives more busy for a short period of time? Get real.

Please tell me what you think could be so awful about going from Place A to Place B to play VALORANT that it warrants a complete outcry from the pro community outside of what we know. What extraneous factors make it impossible to play a video game for money.

“Lack Critical Thinking” is not a good enough argument when you’re saying how playing video games for a job is “easy” and they want it to be even “easier”.

It’s not easy,

They do want it easier because it would suck as a player to prep for 5 bo3s without even knowing who you’re playing tomorrow.

maybe you don’t realize this but being a professional player is NOT as easy as it appears from the outside looking in. “playing videogames for a living” sounds all fun and games until you realize that some teams are working 12 hour days in order to perform and succeed in the esports industry because if they dont, they are out of a job.

& are players just not allowed to criticize anything?
