How tf will a 7 team tournament work

my guess is whoever places 4th from playoffs and just misses out on tokyo will get a 1 seed, and will have a first round bye in lcq

This is the only thing I could imagine, it will still be fraud in 2 years bc it will be a 9 team tourney instead of 7. Next year it’ll make sense with 8.
