I dont like cs at all but like why do people care if there is a no name team in finals
Ullyr [#3]As long as Vitality makes the finals its okay but imagine if Apeks beat vitality... viewership will go down a lot. Ppl want to see a clouted teams in the finals. Its the same in valorant when SEN gets knock out early viewership goes down.
makes sense
zidmz [#2]bc it proves that their entire esport is a bunch of frauds ππππ
You magically became a fucking retard when you switched back to the 100Frauds flair, unlucky
Vietcong [#5]nobody really wants to see a team that does nothing for an entire year and will do nothing after go and make it to the grand final of the biggest tournament
this also. I feel like a lot of ppl didn't consider this cause legit this major felt like all the tier 1 teams just underprep or choked. GL and Apek had subpar results before this.

Hard to do anything when you canβt actually play big tournaments due to franchising π€·ββοΈ
I think people like to root for underdogs, watching teams have a miracle run is always fascinating.
The only issue is if becomes too much of a regular occurrence.
Having teams that can make the latter stages of tournaments regularly is good for creating rivalries and storylines.
I like to use the David versus Goliath analogy for these cases, an underdog vs an established powerhouse.
People would like to watch a "David vs Goliath", which in this case would be Gamer legion vs Vitality.
They would also like to watch two Goliaths facing off, but to have a final with two "Davids" is not as interesting.

no worries such a "david vs david" situation wouldnt happen because zyborg is still in the tourney
