I always boaster is a good igl and dephh is a bad igl and all that but what makes someone a good igl. what draws the line between igl and coach obv coach draws up strats and igl executes them but like cant anyone execute something drawn up.
A good igl imo is someone who can adapt strats to the enemy team, lead the team to which correct sites to execute or defend based on info, be able to pull fakes and rotates. The igl should also be able to keep their teams mental in check.
basically out smart the enemy team.
I know shahz as an igl for sen was vod reviewing enemy teams, anti strating and taking notes for the team.
brobeans [#6]imo, if the team has good strats and the igl has at least radiant mechanics. good teams probably practice enough that everyone is on the same page and calling isn't that important; comms take priority. also strats should be made by coaching staff with the entire team helping
could be wrong, but when teams do fakes and rotates, it could be any player on the team calling it. like if a lurker hears something, etc
