on the difficult stages like late game content, you need to think about your comps, enemy typing, their speed, aggro, priority, timing your ults, etc. you need to think.
but, most of the time you don't need to think yes. you play hsr for the characters, not the gameplay. it's a gacha game afterall. a character collecting game
