We are not giving excuses for his behaviour but we are trying to EMPATHISE with the situation. HAVING EMPATHY ≠ NOT GIVING ACCOUNTABILITY.

Stating "take anything he says with a grain of salt" doesn't mean COMPLETELY IGNORE HIS ACTIONS. It means that the main cause of his actions is from an unstable state of mind BUT THAT DOESNT dismiss what is being said or done.

Maybe most of you are socially unaware but this is the best and most effective way to deal with people with manic disorders.

Ultimately the goal is to make sure the person gets help AND at the same time are held accountable after the fact.

Having this approach is the safest way.

By going in his Twitch chat and calling him a weirdo or an asshole ISNT going to help the situation REGARDLESS of the fact that he is those things. By doing this you are no better than the people in his chat encouraging him to say that weird stuff.

I fully agree with everything you have said.

However, the last part I have issues with:

So what, we can’t say anything at all? Saying he is right also encourages his paranoia, rather not speak about it- that can also feed into his delusion. Saying he is wrong is the best of the choices.

Let me rephrase- in this context, the people who are saying he is wrong are complete strangers and aren't saying it in a constructive way. The only way in which he would possibly listen to someone is someone close to him. So the best thing the public can do right now is literally NOTHING.
