Sentinel fix (the role)

How would you fix the current state of the sentinel role? Sage and Chamber can't really hold down sites on their own like Cypher and KJ. KJ's ult is too overpowered that picking Cypher over her feels like throwing. Do you think if we get a rework on KJ's ult, we will see more Cypher being played? Sage is fine because she's at least getting picked on some maps. Chamber is fine too because fuck him. Either nerf KJ or buff Cypher, or release a new sentinel that can compete with KJ (hopefully next episode). But even then we still need Cypher to be viable, make him be able to compete against KJ. KJ's pickrate in all league is crazy compared to Cypher. Cypher's pickrate in EMEA is a bit higher but that's thanks to Ange1 and nAts kekw

sage-increase self heal and make heal recharge quicker, make slow orbs last longer, make wall full hp a bit faster
cypher-make trips harder to destroy from util- make ult 3 pings, make cages last 2 seconds longer
chamber-100 cred deagle, unlimited range alarmbot, revert gun pickup time after tp-ing, increase radius of tp, make ult back to super fast shooting

Cypher Ability Rework
Ability 1 ⁠—PLACE a trap that scans for enemies. When a visible enemy comes in range, the trap counts down and then destabilizes the terrain around them, creating a lingering field that slows players caught inside of it.

Ability 2 ACTIVATE to equip a heavy pistol. ALT FIRE with the pistol equipped to aim down sights.

Signature Ability PLACE two teleport anchors. While on the ground and in range of an anchor, REACTIVATE to quickly teleport to the other anchor. Anchors can be picked up to be REDEPLOYED.

Ultimate Ability (7 Points) - ACTIVATE to summon a powerful, custom sniper rifle that will kill an enemy with any direct hit. Killing an enemy creates a lingering field that slows players caught inside of it.

I personally think KJ is in a rough spot where she's certainly overpowered but one nerf and she may fall to totally useless. on a similar but another hand i think cypher is totally balanced, just out shadowed by current KJ. Sage works as a niche pick and Chamber can remain garbage forever and i'd be happy.

If I were to make any changes, I would just nerf KJ's ult, and i would either shorten the radius a little bit (for example, making the common ascent B main ult unable to cover all of backsite) OR cut the detain time a good amount (maybe make it as long as gekko detain? it'd be a two second nerf). Not both, at least for now. Turret and alarmbot are fine. Idk what i'd change about swarm grenade, i think it's fine too though

super fast shooting ult would just make him busted again but everything else is pretty good

Buff Cypher (his trips can make a blip second highlight to the person that trapped after few second maybe?)
Can't really think about what to do about Sage.

two buffs id like to see for cypher.

trip buff: allow him to put his trip anywhere between two walls as long as the gap between them meets the range restriction. this will make it actually possible to use some fucking trips on fracture B for example, where sometimes you just have to give up because its impossible to put the trip properly within the buy phase.

cage: give it back the slowing effect

every map has 1-2 duelist controller and initiator, but 2 dont have sentinel

new sentinel agent should be GOOD

you cant really buff chamber, cant really nerf kj, buffing cypher and sage or making the new sentinel good is the best solution
