10-20 makes a difference if you're on a 60 hz monitor

  • make sure to turn on multithreaded rendering
  • lowest graphics setting possible
  • (optional but go to your lowest rez possible)
  • make sure you have valorant prioritized for your computer's resourcees
  • turn on high performance settings whenever you game and turn it back down when you get off
  • turn off all background apps

Serious and working answer: I play on lower end laptop and I used process lasso to deny half the cpu cores to vanguard. Vanguard was using upto 80% of cpu while playing and my frames were dropping to 20 from 90. Now frames drop way less and i also gained some fps.

Download free version of process lasso, open it and look for vgc, right click and set cpu affinity always to half the cpu cores. DO LET ME KNOW IF IT WORKS FOR YOU.
