A crucial diff between then guard and C9 is that they are already playing on LAN. Guard underperformed on first-time LAN, C9 at least have that covered.
They may fell of but they are looking good now, which matters the most.

If it happens it happens. I don't think it's the same now though. Older squad and they won't be dumped into the top 8 like Guard and xset were so the teams may be easier.
I don't think they will perform poorly like guard did. The guard did not have enough LAN experience in iceland 2022 and crumbled under the pressure. c9 core are more experienced . Currently playing americas league on LAN is helping the the new players(runi and jakee) gain some experience.
