It's definitely more akin to a compliment (it could be sarcasm in some cases but I don't think she'd use this kind of vocabulary if it were the case)

Since you didn't get the item yet I would suppose she means 'It would certainly look good on you / in your room (depending on the item)', but it's written in a mix of formal yet kinda broken french
