They only lost to fnc and navi who they were one round away from beating 2-0. They have looked reaaally good so far. Cloud is one of the best in EMEA.
Put some hespec on their name.
HadEs_In [#3]Cloud is surely Top 5 Initiator currently and has been real consistent since navi days
I think Cloud is EMEA's third best initiator (Jamppi could be the debate).
Also the initiators in EMEA are just crazy he is probably top 3 EMEA but top 5 in the world
They have a great core as well that will hopefully last. There arent many support trios in the world better than nukkye, cloud, and hoody. The only ones that I would fully take above them are teams that are already LAN winners or top tier favorites. Of those tier 2 teams no one can compete with that. Obviously a lot of pressure is going to come on Rhyme as an IGL and Fitinho as an entry, but atm even if they don't succeed this year they are built perfectly for the future.

EMEA has the best initiator players. Shao, zyppan, chronicle, leo, cloud, trexx, molsi.

Yeah yeah Jamppi coming back to that Initiator role looking good already , Apart from Leo and Shao , Cloud has been consistent on that role
BoF7ooM [#6]EMEA has the best initiator players. Shao, zyppan, chronicle, leo, cloud, trexx, molsi.
The fact that Navi and Fnc each have two of the bests is crazy

Exactly, imo only crashies and cauanzin (Sacy if he started playing initiator again) can currently compete with Leo Shao Cloud Jamppi
Talking about spotters tho because if we add flexes it's way too ambiguous and wide

Stax should be there, not at the fragging power of any of these guys but if I'm building a team I don't think there's 5 initiators I'm taking over Stax.

Yeah if we account for IGL's yes definitely, was just talking about pure individual performance
Cresp [#7]Emea is ridiculously top heavy. I dont think fut or giants can win against lev, nrg, furia but idk.
Tokyo is gonna change a lot of peoples minds on EMEA midtable teams. Im just gonna wait and enjoy the change in narrative when the time comes

Cauanzin and Jamppi aren't Cloud level

Even if he never IGLed he would be one of the best, he's still the best skye and kayo player of all time and is an early user of harbor, not to mention him being literally the inventor of how breach is played.

Most teams in EMEA played way better against NAVI than LEV did

Individually he is not the best skye kayo player of all time wtffff
Him and DRX did invent many things and again if you count that yes he is in the conversation but since it's really hard measure I decided not to
Mortadelo [#16]Most teams in EMEA played way better against NAVI than LEV did
GIA, TL on paper, FUT and KOI (potential is there but not showing it rn)

then who is better? I'm not talking about singular tournaments, I mean since VCT started who apart from crashies has consistently been on his level on those agents?
Yessirskiiii [#14]Cauanzin and Jamppi aren't Cloud level
Yeah they are behind him imo too, just think they can potentially contend
Mortadelo [#16]Most teams in EMEA played way better against NAVI than LEV did
Ange1 is trolling even more rn than at lock-in rn with his genious team comps
Mortadelo [#16]Most teams in EMEA played way better against NAVI than LEV did
That navi was not looking as good as the lock in one. Now that were looking at a navi that wasnt experimenting as much we see a much better look.
Congo1 [#13]Tokyo is gonna change a lot of peoples minds on EMEA midtable teams. Im just gonna wait and enjoy the change in narrative when the time comes
Dont get me wrong im not saying they are bad teams but it just seems like the talent in the americas is much better distributed. Also so many questionable pickups like wolfen and fitinho
GooberBoy [#19]then who is better? I'm not talking about singular tournaments, I mean since VCT started who apart from crashies has consistently been on his level on those agents?
Well first of all as I said I'm talking about spotters and stax is not a Sova so we're talking just about the Skye and just to begin with Chronicle is a thousand times better Skye and has won international tournament MVP's on it
Wasn't talking about Kayo's but again Zyppan has always been better than him individually and even as IGL's Kingg is better (Not a better IGL, a better framer I mean)
Cresp [#22]That navi was not looking as good as the lock in one. Now that were looking at a navi that wasnt experimenting as much we see a much better look.
Yes but Lev also looked shaky recently (I fucking love Lev btw)
Mortadelo [#25]Yes but Lev also looked shaky recently (I fucking love Lev btw)
Yeah they need to get a wider map pool since they have an outdated ascent but I still think they can kind of easily beat the midtable emea teams if they do get a wider map pool. Also it looks like teams in americas are consistently improving whilst emea looks a lot more stagnant. Thats just my 2cents.

I kinda feel the opposite way, I think all playoff teams in EMEA are really really competent. But I guess we can't know who's biased here xD. Can't wait for Tokyo ngl, wouldn't mind if Lev wins it all tho

I agree with Wolfen playing badly but Fitinho actually has a positive rating now (1.04).
The only 2 roster issues of the midtable teams imo are Wolfen and Soulcas. Which is why i think Vit and Giants will go to tokyo.

I think fut and giants go to tokyo and will be more dark horse teams. Same as 3rd seed pacific (idk what it will be maybe prx).
