using an external monitor for gaming good for my Mickey mouse laptop?? My laptop screen is small and it hurts my eyes after few minutes
_angelmrm_ [#6]If ur monitor has 60hz, u only can see 60fps
For example if u have an 165 hz monitor, u only can see 165 fps

ik that, i was saying on client fps frame rate
acels2 [#7]u should get 144 hz external monitor
Avg fps is 109 i think. 170 was the peak
Will it be okay for 144hz????

not optimal but 144 hz always better than 60
NajibRazak [#12]Whats yr CPU? Cuz external monitor going to use yr CPU igpu even if u have a dedicated gpu. Also if your laptop is struggling to hit 144fps getting a 144hz monitor won't do much(HDMI max hz is only 120hz btw)
I use amd's APU I don't have a dedicated GPU, and my avg. Fps is probably 110 or smth, i hit 144 rarely
I can also upgrade my ram from 8gb>16gb i think then I can hit 144 easily

Great but fyi when connected via HDMI the max hz allowed is only 120hz unless yr laptop has a displayport
