Is lotus the most one sided map ever?

I feel like its so attack sided, so many combacks

It is attack-sided right now. It might change as the meta settles down

Lotus is slightly less attack sided than Ascent is defense sided I think.

what is the problem with maps being certain sided?

I think it's too early to say that because lotus is just a brand new map. Every teams hasn't had a chance to study their enemy's strategy. I mean, yes, you can build strategy and practice for your attacking, but if you don't know how your enemy plays or what comp your enemy will pick on this new map, how can you build some defending strategy against them?
