now that TR's aggressive playstyle has been defunct, what does that say about Brazil? will they go far in masters or no? to me, they both play similarly.
As a lucid fan I will say:
They probably aren’t going to go far in masters. In fact, I would be surprised if they pull a game from EMEA. The scene is just way bigger there, with players from CIS, EU and TR.
Although I feel like players like mwzera can try to pull a cNed, where they learn English and try to play in EU, but that might be hard considering the whole travel restrictions. The BR teams might not be as good, but there are definitely star players who are exceptions
i dont think br is like tr, and i dont think they will strugle either, EU does so many things that BR already knows how to counter like razes/jetts dashing into site, and one more thing, BR teams have been watching EU since beta, we will just see that on LAN but i would not be surprise if they have a strat specifically to beat EU teams, i like to always remember but acend was a fast pace team and they beat everyone on masters, they already shut down acend, but i do think that BR best key is: element of surprise, they are a wild card
cryyBAE [#5]I think BR have more experience in lan events, more aim and more tatics than TR. TR is less agressive than BR, but BR will see these games for sure to play against EMEA teams ...
VKS plays like a EU team and beat GL in the masters finals, but they lost the last B03 against GL because GL can adapt fast ...

VKS and Sharks play much slower than the other Brazilian teams usually, much like the EU, and recently lost to Furia and GL
Noyn [#9]No, Brazilians are smarter and better mechanically in general
Brazil makes much better use of the Raze and Sova kit, we have players like Mwzera, Xand, Nzr, Saadhak, Sacy, Gaabx, who play very differently from the EMEA teams and we have studied the NA and EMEA games since the beta, these teams will have little time to train and adapt to the Brazilian game rhythm and we already know what to expect from Europe and NA, I think the advantage is all from Brazil

That doesn’t mean anything. Also the argument that Vikings and Sharks is a “EU” team is pretty bad imo... just because they play slow doesn’t mean they are an EU team lol.
But that doesn’t matter that’s not my argument.
1- EU has 4 times as many players than BR... a lot of more opportunities to develop talent.
2- EU also have a way more competitive region with teams of 3 different regions already scrimming with each other.
EMEA surely has the edge... not much not say. I feel like the BR region is going to take a while to develop, probably next year when we get more LANS, but right now it’s delusional to think anything will happen.

I think you are right, but we will not know if EMEA will be so dominant against Brazilian teams up to Iceland, it may be that the opposite occurs, in Counter Strike 1.6 and GO Brazil has always had aggressive DNA and very talented players and has always been in top among the best teams in the world, Rainbow Six is the same thing, but I agree with you that the trend is for EMEA to be the dominant region, but I don't think it will be the stomp that went against Turkey

In football Brazil since its emergence has an ultra offensive DNA that empowers its great players and does not constantly play against the teams of Europe that is the dominant region, and has the most beautiful and winning football in history playing ultra offensive against ultra tactical teams and smart in Europe ..

Yep. Brazilian relevance in 1.6 specially, came after years of experience, practicing with the best teams in the world from multiple regions.
I think the future is bright, maybe by CHAMPIONS we will have a contender team, but I think in Iceland it will not be like that.

The closed circuit format of RIOT GAMES favors the richest regions a lot, in the long run it is inevitable that EMEA and NA will be the strongest regions since they will buy the best players and train against them often, teams from poorer regions like Brazil will train and play against the best teams only next and during international championships, which will take place a few times a year. If VIKINGS and Gamelanders could play the European split I am sure that in the medium term they would dominate the world.

This. I think their utility usage will really set them apart. It’s not just brain dead aggression. Also they seem even more confident than TR.
