what made NRG pick Lotus?

did they troll on their map vetos? why didn't they pick such old maps like haven at first?

that's just too alpha

maybe they went the fnatic route: pick new map bc they think they have found the meta.

they were one of the first teams to perform well on pearl, the new map in champs 2022, so probably a similar thought

I dont think NRG will pick lotus again is just a bad read on the meta. They will stick with the normal maps after this.

Victor just said during BR stream they practiced a lot in Lotus and were confident

Imo I feel like they expected to play good in lotus, but didn't account for some of their players to play bad on lotus
