It's just a joke riot gave full permission to nodwin gaming for qualifiers and they are introducing franchise system where org are paying money to bought slots and because of this it's getting late.maybe mid feb or end feb we will get to know about the tournament

nah he meant that every apac region (there's 10 IIRC) will get a direct slot to ascension, they don't have to face like 3rd seed team from MY/SG and then lose on group stage for example, they finally will have a direct slot to the main event

Riot only did this because if SA face any APAC team in qualifiers, all SA teams will be eliminated surely. So no representation and viewership from SA. We all know SA Valorant is sh*t.
