I am not excited for franchise valo at all
Seems kinda boring, I feel like it wont be as entertaining as tier 2 is rn

I like franchised Valo for one main reason: it creates a tier 2 scene. Tier 2 valo will be much more exciting more of the time than franchising, since it'll be MUCH more scrappy which is a more fun viewer experience. That's why I love watching fracture, it's a very scrappy map. If you like the peak of skill and structure, you can watch VCT. If you want a little more chaos, then we got Tier 2. Now it's a real Tier 2 and not just an open qualifier then just Tier 1 again, and a few random knights tourneys.

For the first couple of month maybe even year, yes tier 1 valo will not be a peek level. when off season or trading season comes the organizations will try to go for star players from tier 2 to round out their teams.

I think recency bias maybe. I feel it too, but I think the production quality + gameplay for franchise games should be very high.
