T1 roles?

a bit confused by these roles, what I expected was
duelist: saya
initiator- xeta
controller- munchkin
sentinel- carpe
flashes/flex- ban

main consideration is to ease carpes workload. initiators require chemistry and good timings and constant use of utility in response to the other team. a sentinel would allow carpe to really just focus on his aim and positioning. not sure why he was on probabaly the most difficult role

Sentinel would have to hold site/ability to lurk, probably need further time to learn those.
Fade and Sova has a lower ceiling learning ability for recon purposes, more experienced teammate can match Carpe's timing for site execution.

exactly, maybe they just trying out new things cos it's nonsense to take out xeta from recon initiator. also ban already experienced as flash flex

they have issues which can be fixed, good aim is important as long as the players are actually able to learn these roles

honestly I don't mind if xeta stays on flashes. his flashes and nades were timed extremely well, but yeah I hope to see him back on sova

i think kayo and skye would be easy for carpe

I feel like the fragging role of kayo and Skye is less prevalent now, and so it requires a lot of teamplay and learning timings to set the team up better

did u not read, munchkin can easily take up that lurking role if he plays controller. some of the best lurkers in mako marved mf are all controllers. and if you have 1 designated lurker, your entire game plan is flawed

would it not be better? it would be easier to call shots and rotates given what he hears ie if players are rotating, positions of the enemy killjoy etc.

I feel like it depends on system tho. in a team that is more communicative doesn't necessarily need that compared to a team that follows a strict hierarchy of comms.

also I think it's easier to learn how to lurk then to learn teamplay. and even if there is someone waiting for the lurk, it's essentially a 1v1 which someone with good aim would thrive in
