What is the relationship between OpTic and NRG?
Does anyone know if OpTic is available to enter Valorant?
If so, do you think this will happen? When?
hekzy [#2]What do you mean about the relatiionship between them and NRG? Is there beef?
Also, yeah. But there isn't any team in NA worth picking up right now, nor in EU imo.
They should get an Indian team.
Seriously, they should get a Brazilian team. They can easily buy out any team.

There is no team without an organization in Brazil that is good to compete with the best here
And I think they could come in now with a roster around Tarik
But it's just an imagination

Thats what buying out means you buy out a team from another org and then they represent your org

Hardly the best 3 teams would change org or OpTic would pay the amount needed to buy. Not worth it.
GetsystheGr8 [#6]Optic is now with 100T not with NRG.... Optic is a CoD brand now... so we will see if they ever want to move into other games
So they dropped their CSGO team?

I think its worth it. Optic can buy out brazilian org rosters for pennies compared to what they make in NA. In fact, buying out the entire Gamelanders/vikings rosters is actually cheaper than buying out Tarik from EG, lul.

Wrong. Optic is the CoD-League team of NRG. LA Thieves is the team of 100T. Optic is NOT with 100T
V0sotros [#12]I though that Optic Gaming was bought out by HecZ and they are separate from Immortals and NRG now
the brand is in the CoD-League for NRG. Its loaned out. So while NRG does not own Optic and Hecz owns it, it is still somewhat connected for NRG.
No, you will not see Optic Gaming in Valorant. Every CoD-Team has to have their brand in COD and CoD only. Like with 100T who had to create the brand LA Thieves to be allowed to compete in the CoD-League.
As long as Optic Gaming is in hands of NRG and has its spot in the CoD-League, there will not be a Valo team Optic branded. Only NRG-branded which is the same org, just a different name.
