to be fair, that’s how it’s been for this past year. Champions was literally the same 8-10 teams and the few that were added got grouped

Since riot are very good at listening on their fans, i think if the backlash about this is huge, they might add more teams

But I liked how each country/region got 1-2 representatives. Now, with big regions, entire areas/countries may never play internationally

It won’t be boring if we get a good format. I’d like to see two groups of five with the top three in each group moving on the to playoffs. If we get another 10 team Reykjavik type bracket though, then ten teams is awful.

More teams = more cost
