I knew BBL stood for big boss layf yup yes didnt think of anything else

ORG HISTORY
-Big Boss Layf esports, frequently abbreviated to BBL esports, is a Turkish organization founded in July 2020, and was created by a trio of Turkish founders
-In addition to VALORANT, BBL also compete in PUBG, although that roster has struggled at the international level
-BBL are, without a doubt, the largest Turkish esports organization currently competing in VALORANT. They also have a sizeable fanbase, which is best shown by the massive viewership drawn in from their matches
-BBL are also home to a fairly competitive game changers roster, BBL Queens

ROSTER HISTORY

2020
-BBL first entered VALORANT in July 2020 and started with the roster of:

-cned
-legoo
-wtcn
-rogu
-kero

-Several others players would also be on the active roster, including russ, and AslanM4shadoW.
-The squad would play their first match in the Vitality European open but would fail to get out of their group.
-After some fairly mediocre results throughout the summer of 2020, cned would leave the roster for nolpenki, the roster that would eventually become Acend
-Going into first strike, Russ and AsLanm4shadoW were both promoted to the main roster, and aimDLL would join them. Wtcn and rogu would both step down.
-The roster would comfortably climb into First Strike playoffs, and would make their way to the Grand Finals and topple Futbolist esports, winning 3-0, making BBL Valorant’s First Strike Turkey champions.

2021
-BBL would opt to not make any roster moves going into 2021 and the first season of VCT. The inaugural season has Turkey in its own separate circuit, largely due to the pandemic.
-BBL again cruised through the qualifier, earning themselves a spot at Turkey’s masters. They would lose to Futbolist and groups but still make it to playoffs, but again lose to FUT in the Grand Finals, getting swept 0-3.
-Going into the second split and coming off a runners up spot in Masters 1, BBL would tumble in the first challengers of stage 2, but recover and qualify for EMEA Challengers playoffs, the first time BBL would be playing against EU teams, and were in contention for a spot at Masters 2, the first international Valorant lan.
-Unfortunately, BBL were knocked out immediately with back to back losses to Team Liquid and Gambit.
-Over the summer, BBL swapped Muj for russ, and fred would step up into the roster. At this point, BBL were

-aimDLL
-AsLanM4shadoW
-fred
-Muj
-kero

-Unfortunately, BBL would play very poorly throughout stage 3, and exited challengers without qualifying for playoffs. Due to their poor performance compared to the rest of EMEA (which can kind of be blamed as a fault of the 2021 format), BBL were unable to attend EMEA LCQ, ending their VCT season in July.
-Over the winter break, BBL would add paura, turko, and QutionerX, while retaining AsLan and aimDLL, and would begin 2022 with this roster.

2022
-BBL would have a hot start in 2022 by qualifying for the VCT as one of Turkey’s representative.
-They would stagger in the group stage with consecutive losses to Guild and FNATIC. Following week 2 of VCT, the EMEA VCT was put on hold due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Competition would not resume until 3 weeks later
-In the week 3 (4?) match, BBL would be put against SuperMassiveBlaze, the other Turkish representative, and acquire their first win. With a week 4 (3?) loss against G2, BBL were out of playoff contention, but a win against Acend in week 5 secured them a spot in the next split with a 2-3 record.
-In the following split, BBL would win their opener against Navi, and lose their next 3 matches. They would again squeak out a week 5 against BIG, but would not be able to attend playoffs with a 2-3 record. However, with enough circuit points accrued, they would be able to attend EMEA LCQ
-At LCQ, BBL bombed out with losses to Guild and Liquid, not winning a single map, and ending their VCT season.

RUMORED ROSTER MOVES
-BBL have confirmed Brave and Elite as part of their roster for 2023. QutionerX, AsLan, and Turko are rumored to be the ones rounding out the roster.

I’ll be doing Giants as the last EMEA org, and then I’ll begin writing for Pacific. I also plan on posting an addendum for Americas and some of the earlier EMEA orgs that have now confirmed their rosters after I finished Giants. Thank you everyone for your continued support.
