ORG OVERVIEW
-Futbolist is a Turkish esports org founded in 2016, branching off from a pre-existing sports news app. They currently host teams in PUBG, Hearthstone, Wild Rift, FIFA, and Valorant
-Futbolist is one of the two Turkish organizations that will be representing Turkey in the EMEA 2023 League.
ROSTER HISTORY
2020
-Futbolist first entered VALORANT right before first strike qualifiers with the pre-existing 5 of LOL, consisting of

-mag0o-At first strike, they lost their opening match to OXG, but went on a tear through the lower bracket, beating Random 5, Anatolia, Sangal, and BBL to secure their spot in playoffs.
-In playoffs, they rode all the way to the upper final, but would lose to BBL. After defeating OXG in the lower final to make it to Grands, they would get swept 3-0, ending First Strike in second place
2021
-Ahead of VCT, marqnue would move to a coaching role, and be replaced by qRaxs. The Turkish circuit for VCT was kept separate all the way through the end of Stage 2.
-In the first stage, FUT would take down Blame, Aurora, and Wildcats before a loss to Otherside sent them to the third challengers, where they would take down Anatolia to secure a spot at Turkish masters.
-At Masters 1, FUT tore through OtherSide, Rare, and BBL Twice to win the event, dropping only 1 map in the process. They beat BBL in Semis and Grands 5-0.
-Entering stage 2, they would again tear through the Turkish bracket and win the grand final to enter EMEA Challengers Finals as Turkey’s number one seed. However, they would face consecutive losses to Guild and OXG, ending their chances of attending Masters 2.
-Unfortunately in Stage 3, FUT wouldn’t even make it to Challengers Finals and fizzled out in Turkish playoffs. However, they squeaked by into LCQ
-At LCQ, FUT opted to bring in qw1, and exited in LR3 with a loss to Guild. Heading into 2022, they would drastically shake up their roster
2022
-Entering the 2022 season, FUT would field:

-qRaxs-The squad would make it all the way to the finals of the Turkish qualifier for the VCT stages, but fell short to BBL 1-3 in the Grand Finals, denying them a chance to play in the main group stage.
-Instead, FUT continued to play through the Turkish VRLs. They finished the first season 5-2 and earned a spot in playoffs, but would exit in the play-in stage with a loss to Team Lixa. After this p0wa77 was swapped for MUJ
-In the second season FUT would finish 4-3, still qualifying for playoffs. This time they would take down FFX in the Grand Finals to secure a spot at the VRL finals, where all the winners of each VRL would compete against each other
-At VRL finals, they would take down Vitality 3-2 in the grand finals with a reverse sweep, and were crowned 2022 VRL Champions.
-The team has since qualified for Red Bull Home Ground set to take place in December, as the sole Turkish representative
RUMORED ROSTER MOVES
-FUT have added AtaKaptan as a 6th player, and are said to be retaining their core 5 of players, which has led to some doubt their competitiveness in the EMEA League where there are already 3 super teams. Nonetheless, the roster for FUT Esports in 2023 is set to be:
