just a bunch of stupid idiot cops that didn't know safety standart procedure by throwing tear gas (which banned by fifa) into the crowd resulting a chaotic riot that took almost 200 lives. rip to them

It's quite complicated and fucked up. I'll try to explain it with my best english.

So there is a "tradition" on this particular team, where the fans will go on the pitch for emotional support for the players. But the police overreacted and went too far by using violence against the fans which made the other fans furious. Then the police started throwing tear gas, next you know what happen.

So basically both side is partially at fault, but still most of the blame lies with the police.
Football here is known for the fanatic violence, but it was long time ago. It has completely went down after a tragedy 4 years ago, which done by completely different team fans that leads to a person death
