depends on what u like. the first few eps are rough the art style improves imo in the later eps. Personally, I have it as my favorite because of the philosophy and characters. Like most of my fav characters are from logh they are so well writtten. Last but not the least the music slaps

I would argue the adaptation was tantamount to the source, if not better. The anime really succeeded in creating that tense and uncomfortable atmosphere which (imo) is harder to deliver in a bunch of pages. The op and ed were fucking goated i still listen to them from time to time.
I haven't watched 3 gatsu so i cant really say. And i haven't watched your last two either but have heard good things about them and plan to watch them someday. You have good taste 👍

You should watch 3-gatsu asap and logh is like hit or miss for some people. Tengen is only there coz its one of the early anime i watched.
I dont agree with the manga statement tho imo manga as a medium is better than animation

Thats true tbh but from the psychological stuff i have mangas have an edge in this genre like bibliomania(check it out), historie, homunculus, innocent (goated art), fantasy world jun, and kami no kodomo lol

Ahh it got good after the first two minutes when the instruments kicked in. Im not really into manga because they do take a lot of time to read unlike anime which i just watch on 2x. But I am reading oshimi's other work chi no wadachi which i genuinely think is a masterpiece.

how tf do u watch anime on 2x? i can't watch anything above 1.25x. Its the opposite for me i prefer readin mangas coz i can stop at a point and don't have to finish the whole episode. Oh i stopped at like 20 chaps or so
