Riot Games has announced the Valorant OFF//SEASON, a window for third-party tournaments between VCT seasons. The goal is to “provide a window for organized competition and the freedom for tournament organizers to experiment with new formats.” To this end, they've partnered with esports organizations around the world, each of whom will design their own unique tournament. So far, the following events have been announced:

AMERICAS

  • G4 Rumble Oct. 1

    • Content creators will play for a prize of 20k.
  • Copa Rakin Oct. 25—Dec. 4

    • 128 teams from the Brazilian Valorant community will compete for a 30k BRL prize pool.
  • BoomTV Nov. 8—13

    • 8 invited pro teams and 4 qualified teams from North America will compete.
  • Knights Arena Valorant Freezeout Dec. 15—18

    • 256 teams face off in a single elimination bracket for a $25,000 prize pool.
  • Spike Series Invitational Nov. 5—11

    • Teams will face off for a 20k BRL prize pool.
  • Vava BTS Sunset Nov. 21—27

  • Valorant Latam Gods Nov. 28—Dec. 4

    • A four-team invitational offline event to be held in Santiago, Chile.
  • Ludwig x Tarik Invitational Jan. 14—15

    • Two-day LAN event with both international professional teams competing and content creator exhibition matches.

PACIFIC

  • TEC Challenger Series Sept.29—Oct. 13

    • Top four teams from separate qualifiers for teams from South Asia and South-East Asia and two invited teams will compete for a prize pool of 30,000 USD.
  • TEN 5_Valorant Korea vs. Japan Showmatch Oct. 3

    • Single-day showmatch event featuring DRX and Northeption.
  • Valorant India Invitational by Galaxy Racer (GXR) Oct. 14—Nov. 20

    • Three-day offline invitational event in Hyderabad, India.
  • Penta Pro Series - Valorant Oct. 28—Dec. 18

    • Top four teams - two from SA regional qualifiers and two invited SEA teams will play at an offline event in Bengaluru.
  • TEN 5_ Valorant Special Match Nov. 4

    • Special off-season match where either the best Korean teams or APAC franchise teams will compete at the Busan Esports Arena (BRENA).
  • Gwangju Esports Series (GES) Asia Nov. 26—27

    • Four invited teams will face off in a BO3 single-elimination format.
  • WCG Rivals - Valorant: Korea vs Japan Dec. 16

    • For invited Valorant influencers and professionals.
  • AfreecaTV SEA Invitational Nov. 29—Dec. 4

    • A week-long tournament for teams across Southeast Asia.

EMEA

  • Crossfire Cup Mediamarkt e Intel Oct. 3—Nov. 12

    • Tournament by the team behind Spain's VRL League.
  • Valorant REGIONAL League Türkiye Invitational Oct. 3—9

    • For the players of Türkiye.
  • Valorant Regional League Dach Evolution: Unity Oct. 3—Dec. 18

    • Offline event with the live finals played at Dreamhack Hannover, Germany.
  • Red Bull Home Ground 2022 Oct. 7—Dec. 11

    • Will feature teams from both EMEA and NA.
  • BME Superdome Oct. 13—22

    • 8 teams compete for a $30,000 grand prize in Cairo, Egypt.
  • G-Loot Valorant Clash Oct. 21—Nov. 27

    • Eight teams from regional qualifiers will join four teams from the G-Loot Brawl in the Showdown stage, and the best teams from the Showdown will move to the Grand Finals.
  • Coupe de France Oct. 27—Dec. 12

    • Online tournament with finals taking place offline at the Occitanie esport Event.
  • Lyon e-Sport Nov. 11—13

    • 32-team Valorant tournament with a 15K EUR prize pool.

Riot has also promised to support OFF//SEASON events with amplification through their channels, a dedicated page with an updated schedule, and sharing lessons between tournament organizers to improve the experience week over week. They are working to lock in additional events as well.
