Can we talk about how we still don't have a legit coach? So are we gonna like sign some players and then gonna cheap out on the actual thing that matters the most? Anyone can shoot a gun but a good coaching stuff can make nobodies somebodies. Look at what mCe did with Guard, what Sgares and Mikehd did with some young players at 100T! Also, signing players without the approval/consultation of the person who is gonna coach the team just doesn't feel right!

This. I know I'm not in the room with them but from the little we have seen Rawkus just seems to agree with what Shahz is thinking. We need a coach who's in charge and brings a different perspective, not one who's there for the vibes.

based on some clips in the doc and not the actual huge improvement of the team in LCQ

The huge improvement is better attributed to the fact that they had a bootcamp, by the end of which had a small map pool, and still got outplayed on one of there better maps. They ran a triple initiator comp on one map and lost, we've already seen it doesn't work that well. It's more than just a few clips.

But if you get a coach who doesn't bring anything new or different, what's the point of getting the coach? They may as well let their manager keep sitting in that spot.

i think your point is true that the coach should bring in new ideas that are different

but at the same time, the players collectively need to agree with it.

SEN def showcased that willingness to innovate and be different with their 0 duelist comps. but it all depends on which coach they move forward with

I dont think coaches are in a hurry to be signed. There is still a lot of time left. I'm pretty sure they will get a new coach after all the roster changes.

Then you are signing players without the approval of the coach. Idk it just doesn't feel right when you can sign the coach first and then take his consultation and recommendation in signing players.

Its not like they have a lot of time to sign players. Also hurrying to sign a coach is not that great. The coach shouldnt be the priority the players should be. And as much as the coach should have an authority over the team the players should be comfortable with the coach.

Wdym hurrying to get a coach? They should already have a coach in mind that they want to sign. Loads of good coaches are available rn. If you don't have your priority straight yet you are never gonna find a better time to sign a coach.

But as I said coaches aren't in a hurry to be signed. Pretty much all the teams in franchising already have coaches. So they don't have to hurry. After the soft lock they can get a coach, and even change players if needed. Ideally they should have someone in mind already.
