So if they have your card info saved on your valorant account they'll take your money?
I dont know but, it seems that wild rift and league of legends are the same
blazennn [#5]? so are they gonna take money
well, basing on the comments. they might steal everything

no because you need to type in the 3 digits of back of the card every purchase...
hiimnsk [#10]no because you need to type in the 3 digits of back of the card every purchase...
that 720 possible combinations, assuming 3 tries per card =240 so for every 240 card info hacked, 1 will get compromised instantly, even more if the card doesn't force you to call the bank after 3 mistakes. there are easily hundreds of thousands of cards connected to riot so if that info leaked that insane amount of money stolen.
Edit: should be around 3/1000 chance is you have 3 chances to guess a 3 digit code as shown below

not that simple
Faraday [#17]how so?
Because you are thinking the the algorithm you thought would be true in the first trial itself
Suppose the CVV is 873 , so the algorithm would start like this first it would check 001 and then it would check 002 and so on ( that's what you're saying if you're thinking about permutations) so it would have to ultimately take 873 chances and messages to actually guess the CVV and I'm sure the bank server would recognise that because brute force attack is very easy to predict. That's why if i give you the card number and you don't know my cvv then the chances are that you might get it right if you use this brute force attack is low while getting the ip banned is high
not_smart_user [#14]i dont really care since i never bought any skins i have over 300 radianite currently lmao
If you think about it , it's more precious than rp

I have 700 saved lol, never bought any skins

I'm not saying that you will get every card, I'm saying since if I put 345 in, there is a 1/720 chance of being correct the first time. so I'm not saying you try a single card 720 times/ until you get it correct, I'm saying you try 720 different cards once. I'm not saying it'll work forever, almost 100% the bank will catch on but there are ways that you can fake your ip and get atleast some money from some cards before the system detects it.
seankuku [#18]I'm just saying that the way you calculated it is very vague
yeah I did a permutation but since numbers are replaceable it would just be 10^3 = 1000 possible combinations so 1/1000. If I have a 1/1000 chance doing it once, if I do it twice I get 1/1000+ 1/999 (since I know atleast 1 is wrong), then 1/1000 + 1/999 +1/998 which is pretty close to 3/1000 or 1/333.333.
so if I get 3 attempts to guess a 3 digit code the chances of me getting it is around 3/1000
meaning if I get 1000 chances to do this (1000 credit cards) then I will average 3 successful cards money stolen

If somebody would be hacking riots server first of all you would need a great deal of fake ips and being on cyber security i know that it is very easily possible to backtrack those and for faking the ips or to even change them you have to do a great level of planning and also if according to you even if you scrap of let's say 100 cards too that's would be a foolish way to actually hack cause the investment and time will not correspond to the reward and using brute force attacks your chances of getting caught is too high so im sure if anyone hacks the servers which is obviously a weird thing to say because as far as i know they have their own physical servers and hacking them is like spying on the administrator and if you have the server access there are many services which would easily and believe me very easily these days would predict these types of attack and log the session out

Also it would be even more hard when you try to fix the card number around a CVV cause there is no guarantee that you would get a card with the CVV you mentioned but the other way around is more likely to happen
It's all for me now it's not a math forum
