I agree, but then the question is, what is the balance? Where is the happy medium? You’re either considered a edgey 4 chan shitposter or a white knight snowflake. Alternatively you’re just someone who doesn’t express their opinions on social media because you can’t be assed dealing with those who don’t agree or share the same views.
sank3tsu [#8]Some people didnt saw Filthy Frank era , thats why they are so soft
YouTube was a different time back then hahaha. There is just no way creators could get away with even a quarter of the content posted back then.

i feel like there will automatically be a balance when you put your energy on the important things. ppl shouldnt be reacting the same way to someone who committed a crime to someone who called their fav kpop idol bad. that sense of perspective is missing from so many ppl these days.

100% agree man, I just try not to express my opinions too much on the internet because I can’t be bothered dealing with those who don’t agree and try to attack you for it. Hit the nail on the head though, too many people care about what people say on the internet like it directly effects them in real life, like you can’t just scroll on and ignore something.
Before the internet only a selected few had an audience, now everyone has an audience and "followers".
People want to be accepted, loved and more than anything, crave attention. Being able to get almost instant gratifaction from social media (either with likes, follows, shares etc) makes people feel powerful and makes them feel better about themselves.
That's why we get the impression that everyone is going crazy, plus places like twitter are echo chambers were selected views are shared over and over again and give the false impression that the majority agrees with them.
