why are we so focused on what orgs make franchise

no matter what every team is going through major change. if its not teams like fpx, optic, drx etc almost no one on the team is staying. the only factor in making franchising is how big your name is.

HOWEVER
I do think that riot recruiting based off the financial backing and clout of the team is dumb... for SEN a lot of that clout comes from tenz, who no matter what was being brought up to a franchised team, and them signing shroud for lcq. (this is never happening) if sen drop tenz, almost all their hype is gone.

Pro scene is contentless rn until gc/3rd party tournies start. Ofc were gonna gossip abt franchising

Sentinels are slowly building a brand in Valorant, by the time TenZ leaves they might be just as relevant

because some people support teams and not players that might get benched in 6 months
