can u make one thing clear? now that optic havent been accepted, do players become free agents like gambit or they continue to be bound by the contract?
coz if they are free then it is very likely that a team will take them together, but if a team is forced to pay the clause for each player to Envy then no team is crazy enough to buy 5 players and a coach. the amount of money would be insane

It depends on what the org decides to do. They could make them play in the Ascension league until their contracts are up (which is unlikely for teams like OPTC since they're #1 in NA), or they could negotiate with other teams about selling the roster, or they could just release them.

They are not free

Optic has always let players let go for free.

Arcitys was a player let go from Optic to Faze and created a superteam. He wanted to go and they let him.
