Optic vs LOUD

LOUD ban Pearl - Looks like LOUDs veto now
OpTic ban Breeze - OpTic look very bad on breeze right now and LOUD is one of the best breeze teams in this tournament
LOUD pick Icebox - OpTic have been vetoing this map for months now and LOUD look decent on the map so this is kind of a bold guess wouldn't be surprised if they picked Ascent
OpTic pick Bind - Definitely OpTic's best map this is a no brainer
LOUD ban Fracture - looks to be LOUDsworst map out of the remaining three OpTic are also better on fracture than loud by a lot
OpTic ban Ascent - Probably LOUDs best map at the very least second best map I think OpTic would rather play Haven that they have seen more of from LOUD I feel like Chet has some nice anti strating prepared for this map
Haven Remains - LOUD have looked great on it recently OpTic have been shaky probably would lean in LOUDs favor if it went three maps in this scenario maybe Chet cooks up a great anti strat though

DRX vs FPX

FPX ban Breeze - FPX just look bad on the map probably there worst map we haven't seen Haven so I guess we don't know but I think it would be hard to be worse on the Haven right now
DRX ban Pearl - No clue about DRX on the map we haven't seen them play it FPX look decent on the map with ardiis on chamber comp and DRX have been vetoing it anyways so I think they probably go back to that
FPX pick Icebox - I think FPX surprise people and pick Icebox they look decent on the map but DRX hasn't played this map since Iceland so they are a question mark when playing this map. I can see them picking Fracture or Ascent maybe but both those maps are definitely good DRX maps so I'm saying they pick Icebox
DRX pick Haven - Although they got beat pretty hard by LOUD last time they played it I think it's still one of there best maps if not there best map FPX haven't played Haven this event so far so they're still unknown but I think it's probably the safest option
FPX ban Ascent - Although it's one of there best maps they have played it a lot so far and DRX beat them on it last time so banning it seems to be the most likely scenario considering Fracture is still on the board and Bind is unknown for DRX
DRX ban Bind - DRX haven't played the map so far so not really any explaining to do Fracture is still on the board so wouldn't make sense to ban it
Fracture Remains - Both teams great on the map probably #1-2 ITW I would lean FPX in favor on this match but no surprises if DRX pulls it out if they played the map

Any thoughts please tell me if you disagree or agree I'm trying to get better with analyst although this isn't really analyst I still want to learn more!

you're forgetting that drx got derke diffed on icebox a few days ago.
Also I think that the DRX comp on Haven needs to be switched bc kj util is countered so easy with breach no. ADD THE CHAMBER

I feel like Optic will still ban icebox instead of breeze and let breeze be taken by LOUD as first map.
Reason being is that they wanna icebox as their trump for the lower/grand final

really curious about drx pearl if theyre just not prepared or saving strats. pearl has been emea’s handicap (and loud’s too) and i feel that this map is a big decider in the finals.

i dont think LOUD will waste the oportunity to pick Ascent, or Breeze as well if they ban Ascent. Icebox is a good pick but not as the first i think, they did it against Leviathan because LEV's Ascent is so good too.

For the loud optic game, optic might just ban ascent, as they are not looking that great in that map + loud is probably best in the world on ascent.
Also, FPX will most likely not ban ascent themselves, they might not pick it the first time, it could be that DRX bans it, or it is a decider. The reason why I think that is, FPX haven't lost ascent with the full roster until that game, they will probably rectify their mistakes and keep it in the pool if not pick it.

Alright, first of all for the fracture pick https://www.vlr.gg/130624/optic-gaming-vs-loud-valorant-champions-2022-group-stage-winners-b/?game=95051&tab=overview this is recent, in groups and loud nearly won on it, which maybe shows even optics good picks aren't actually as good as they once were or loud anti stratted them a ton (i didn't watch the game personally so i do not know), but i think if LOUD got some good strats going on fracture they could possibly beat them on it due to this result recently

i believe drx will still ban icebox first than pearl, they didn't look good at all on icebox i dont think they gonna risk it

I think this match up isn't about skill or teamwork or anything of the sort, i think it's purely about the map pool, which i honestly expected would come in like 2023, but clearly teams are improving faster than i thought
