did it ever occur in the very last round of a quarterfinal at Champs? Consider this, if Riot did nothing and FPX got to advance everyone would call it a hollow victory due to them getting a free round.

No reasonable person would call this hollow victory. Multiple pro players and personalities have said that this shouldn't be replayed.
