franchising

is there anyone out there who supports franchising and can make a solid point in favour of it?

everytime i see a different org drop a roster because they didn't get in it, drives me mad

Nah its complete dogshit competitively but i mean its good for content and viewership and sponsors and the health of the scene in general so i can understand somewhat why they did it.

The biggest W is that we will see regional LANs, FINALLY, gonna see NA teams face each other on LAN in a riot studio

I guess it becomes easier to follow vct for new fans so more viewership also
but comes at a cost of having less competition at their highest level compared to now
