It is because they put a lot more importance this Champions . More teams + LCQ's were hype. Last year champions felt like just another masters
- NA, EMEA, BR, and APAC all have a team from a previous masters’ grand final to root for this year
- china is making their debut
- LCQ teams like 100T, BOOM, and TL look really promising as well
it all feels like the perfect storm of likable teams with fun players that also have the potential to win the whole tournament.

Val is getting more competitive because minor regions have improved. Any team can win champs so it's more hype than last year
