KR teams seem to be well adapted to playing counterflash against breach which explains why VS is starting to run skye. i think once the regions begin to play each other, EU breach teams are going to run into many strategy/execute problems against these KR teams. NA on the other hand relies much more on contact play and would fare better. i feel like every region has its own playstyle that counters another, and itll turn into something like pokemon strengths and weaknesses.

That's a decent comment. Still wondering which eu/cis/tr teams will hit the spots, 'cause they already have a different play style inside the region. Like you said, #1 Eu teams may have some problems with this play style, on the other hand EU underdogs can easily counter it. I hope Masters will be like Mexican Standoff.

Btw. Ascent was a fiesta for me. Very well played by both teams, VS had more creativity so they got what they want. Nuturn's run is obviously not over yet.

nuturn looked incredibly well versed in VS's plays. VS were hesistant to utilize their set plays, and when they did, they countered them perfectly. in fact, it seemed like VS were sometimes unready for their own sets to be used against them. nuturn reminds me of GENG in NA, solid anti-strats.

It's also noticable that VS has abandoned Cypher as well. Normally Cypher is anyway bad at dealing with Jett+Breach entry but they were still using it because his potential to lurk and prevent flank. But they decided to run the game much more aggressively and let Omen to be be very passive lurker. That is actually not that bad because he has teleport so he kinda deals well with coordinated duo flank KR likes to do. It was kinda same for Nuturn but imo VS has more experienced in this comp.

It is interesting to think that they had a moment where they were running different comps in group stages and somehow came back for comp they used to run in finals. iirc it was First Strike Korea. So who knows? Their Skye comp might be temporary and they may suddenly change all the strategy and smacking everyone lol
