Alter Ego Celestè has won every Game Changers event in the region to date. Despite already being confirmed for Game Changers APAC Elite through circuit points, they still have not announced a replacement, though sources close to VLR.gg have forecasted that Tiara "Alluka" Bonilla Pleno is set to join the team.

Oreopheliaa joins to replace Neha "CaspeR" Sottany in the active lineup for Elite. She recently stepped away from the active roster before the team took part in the Overtime event due to health issues. Orangutan ended up playing with a sub and winning 3-0 over X10 Sapphire to clinch their berth in the Elite event.

Orangutan's manager Kunal Soni commented on the team's newest recruit, saying:

“Oreo is going to be a great addition to the team. We have no doubt in her ability as she has been a part of Alter Ego Celestè which is one of the best teams in our region. She also brings a dynamic aspect to the team in terms of agent comps. Our expectations are very high with Oreo.”

The winner of the upcoming VCT Game Changers APAC Elite tournament will become APAC's sole representative in the international Game Changers Championship in November.
