CR 2-1 NTH
I do feel like the bad audio at SSA gave NTH the upper hand. Due to not having great comms to begin with, they weren't that affected by not being able to hear each other. Historically CR have consistently beaten NTH outside of LAN, but NTH now has international experience. It'll be a close series and can see it being 2-1 in either direction really.
No need to be hostile. Like I said, I feel like NTH benefitted from the bad audio during the LAN. If you give that argument any weight than the true record is 1-1, but with a long history of CR beating NTH before that.
I also gave credit to NTH for being able to pick up international experience and that giving them alot of improvement. I also said that I could see the series going 2-1 in either direction, but as my flair suggests I have a slight CR bias so I give it to them. So I don't think it's delusional.
Okay. First of all, CR has been losing to Nth 3 series in a row in the Stage 3 as you might know. But only the last match (Stage 3 playoffs lower final) was held in SSA, and other 2 matches were held ONLINE, not on LAN. This means your argument that CR have consistently beaten Nth outside of LAN is completely wrong. Btw im not gonna deny the audio issues affected the performance of CR side on the match at SSA, but I have to emphasise again that the other 2 matches where Nth won against CR were held online.
Second, it's true that CR were consistently beating Nth until the stage 1, but that really does mean nothing now because the roster of Nth was completely different last year (even a single player/coach isn't remaining now). CR still won once after the complete roster change of Nth, but after that Munchkin left CR and from then CR has not won a single series against Nth, simply because they lost their star player. Hopefully you learn much more about JP scene.
Lol it's funny how you always have to be hostile in some form, so passive aggressive man. I watch the Japanese scene exclusively for 2 years. And turns out I was right, 2-1 in a close series, just wish it went the other way lol.
I'm glad that NTH seems to have improved from their international experience. They're executes are much cleaner than when they only had JP experience. I'm also glad that even with that experience, CR have shown improvement as well, I feel like they're gelling a bit better. They still have a good deal to go before being able to compete with Zeta I feel like, but I think they stand well within reach for the top.
Personally, as a long time fan of the Japanese scene, I'm just happy that Japan is growing at such a stellar rate. I think that's something that both of us can agree on, don't you think? :)
Yeah I heard about EggsQQ saying that about Saitama! After watching how close this series was I'm just glad that it seems that Japan as a whole region has really grown so much.
I've watched it grow from the beginning when the casters were sat in front of just a green screen and a questionable desk lol. To now Japan being able to make it to top 3 at internationals. It's been a great journey so far :)
I feel like most people are starting to underestimate them since Munchkin left CR. Yes, they're not weak but not that strong either right now. If CR can beat NTH with this new roster, it will be one of a big achievement for them because they haven't managed to defeat them with this roster. I'm not saying that rion is weak or something, it's just Meteor is so strong and they together need to do something about this.
