So I was just browsing twitter and saw a vedio saying its valorant partnership programme not franchising and the vedio also talked that because riot is paying teams to stay in the programme maybe they will get less, could it be possible that unlike tradational league we will have 1 slot from open qualifiers ?

I doubt there will be a promotion league, at least in the first year of the system, I'm sure quite a few small orgs would've stuck around if there was. Also that video saying it's technically a partnership not 'franchising' is dumb cause only the wealthiest organizations will still get in.
When organizations like The Guard are offering Riot an entire ass stadium, what is an org like Akrew funded off of Animal Crossing Ebay supposed to do?

Having 1 slot per region may help but only selected teams get invited (teams that apply for franchising but didnt make final cut)
Then having relegation slots for the worst teams in each league. Bottom 4 from Americas play 2 from NA 1 Br and 1 Latam. 8 team double elim. top 4 go to the league bot 4 go to regional leagues aka tier 2. I feel like it may give more of a chance for relegation to show new and upcoming teams, It also means teams not performing, Like eg in CS who are still in esl pro league will drop out and teams like the guard who this year came out of no where can take the spotlight. Relegation must be included at some point. this is just my take. Might be confusing

Yeah even the wealthiest org will get but there is indeed something we are missing, most probably we won't see open qualifiers but I just find it intresting why riot didnt went for traditional leauge format

I have a feeling that the 'one specific one' that they're talking about in the replies will be CLG, they've been lurking in the scene for a while now

No I didnt meant 1 slot to each region like NA BR or LATAM that will be too much . I meant 1 slot for each region like asia, america and EU.

having 1 slot for each region as an open qual makes sense but for relegation i think it should be more teams
