scandinavia appreciation thread

can we talk about this region for a sec. Although not technically a region in e-sports, I feel like this region of the world has produced the best talent in emea val. Every team in EMEA playoffs has at least 1 player from that region on their team and almost all of them are superstars. CIS and TR get a lot of love for spitting out top tier talent, lets show some love to Scandinavia too :)

yes and its not just denmark. Sweden and even Finland to an extent are all huge players in tac-FPX esports scene

I mean swedes and danes were super advance when it comes to FPS, so yes worth the appreciation that they are dissipating into mixed region teams

LoL: Caps best player west has ever produced, Wunder, Bjergsen, Jensen, Zven 3 of those are some of the most known in LCS (NA), Broxah and some others, IMO best EU country when it comes to players it has produced and possible in all of west.

finland isnt part of scandinavia geographically and linguistically we are very very different. but we have close historical and cultural ties so atleast 1/4 scandinavian i guess.

greatest cs country sure, maybe even greatest fps country, but korea and china are surely greater esports countries. Unless you're talking about esports being culturally significant, in which case maybe denmark and korea
