because the champions last year had two BR slots, one LATAM spot, and one SA spot. it's sad to see them have the most spots, but that's what riot did.

bcs masters already has 1 BR, 1 LATAM, and 1 BR/LATAM. so they actually just add one slot to BR/LATAM for champs. understand?
