VLR I need your help

The SSD on my secondary laptop stopped working. Windows can't detect it. It doesn't show up in the BIOS either.
Tried everything. Driver updates, unplugging and replugging. Nothing worked.
Is it just time for a new SSD or am I missing something

1. Already read all existing forums from LTT. Nothing there I haven't already tried.
   Though someone here might have something new to add

2. It's a Toshiba NVM.e 256GB SSD

I put the SSD from my primary PC in it. Worked fine.
So it's deff not the connectors

dip laptop into boiling water, to boil away the problems

I did. Wasn't working

Yeah that's the last resort. I've already requested the budget for it
Just wanted to make sure I try everything
