OpTic Gaming’s in-game leader FNS announced he tested positive last night on Twitter. FNS told Dot Esports yesterday that he has “maxed out” symptoms, including a high fever.

Despite the roster’s outbreak, it is expected all five players will compete against XSET tonight. FNS told Dot Esports that he’s “playing no matter what.”

As an Optic fan this shit sucks man. Hope they will get well soon.

And don't even bother saying Covid doesn't affect performance. It definitely does especially if the symptoms are this bad.
But no excuses. If they lose they lose, just wanted to mention it.

ngl it would be fun to see two new teams play at masters so the run for champs becomes interesting, since if optic qualify then the other team that does will most likely go to champs too

If Optic don't go because of this reason alone then NA will lose their best representative and we won't see the previous International LAN winner in the next LAN and that will be the saddest shit ever.

If Optic lose cuz the other two teams obviously skill diffed them then yea they will be better representatives.

With all due respect, for this game it is sort of fortunate that FNS got hit hardest by COVID, since he isn't exactly a fragger to begin with, compared to someone like yay.

even if he's not yay he still gets kills, and the team still depends on him pulling a bit of his own weight. It's a massive deal if he can't aim or think straight
