What happens if two teams tie circuit points

Specifically 100 Thieves and The Guard. With the guard placing 5th in their group like 100t did in stage one, there is a very big possibility that 100t make it to masters 2. If 100t were to go out in 7th/8th like the guard they would then be tied with the guard for the second most circuit points(assuming optic is the other team to make masters 2). Which team would go to champs? Would there be a tie breaker?

The tiebreaker is that whoever got the most circuit points during Stage 2 of VCT will be ranked higher. So in this case, 100T would be higher ranked than TGRD.

There no need tie breaker when 100t got eliminated on play off

the guard has 220 circuit points, if 100t makes it to masters, they would either have 165 (no tie), 215 (no tie) or 265 +(they surpass them). If 100t goes to masters then they're not getting any points for na challengers
