again, just think about it. the statement that vanity gave to the public is non-confrontational and has no consequences if untrue. If the ceo's statement is a lie, then the potential consequences would actually be harmful towards the reputation of the org. Vanity has clearly changed his story many times in streams and in chat.
With the future of franchising, you dont know whats happening with t1. We know that orgs and select players already received information on franchising, I'm guessing this is why xeta and autumn wanted to make this deal in the first place.
If t1 moves to korea (since they have no chance of franchising in NA) they would want to keep the rights to xeta and autumn before another team picks them up
If vanity is telling the entire story in the interview, does it not mean anything if two members that joined c9 from the same team at the same time get kicked off from the same team at the same time?
does nothing add up? are there not coincidences that maybe yall cant put together given context/timing?
1, the statements that vanity gave are confrontational, because it makes the team directly responsible for the failure of the swap (as it was) if it was a "forced" transfer, then fans, as you have in your original post, would not blame the team becayse it was xeta who wanted to leave, instead of them making a change because they felt it would make them better.
2, the statement of the ceo doesn't have to be a lie, there very well could've have been an internal talk within the team, where they told xeta that they wanted to replace him, so he might have made the request after being told he was replaced. Either way, it was the team's interest in curry that sparked the move.
3, vanity hasn't really changed his story, he has just added extra information as to why they made the change. he might have been told to say other stuff by the org, but he's said multiple times that they wanted to make the change. (in this video's comment section, for example: https://youtu.be/9eSTseyauo0)
4, I don't know about t1's status for franchising, but I'd say c9 are closer to getting there than t1. They've also said that they're commited to staying in north america, and every report about franchising in asia seem to include 1 or 2 korean teams (bo hoogland prediction) A change of regions for t1 right now doesn't seem likely. Xeta has also stated that he wants to stay in NA, doubt he would go to t1 if they're planning on changing regions xeta tweet
5, idk exactly what you wanted to say with this, but vanity has also stated that autumn didnt affect the inner workings of the team that much and that jamezirl was always the head coach, it would make sense that t1 would want to take the coach while they're in negotiations with c9 since they didn't have one and autumn would have more protagonism in t1.
I'd also like to hear your view as to why xeta would prefer to jump ships mid season to a team that has nothing to play for instead of giving it his all at c9 for challengers/masters/lcq/champs, and then maybe leave the team if t1 are still there, maybe I'm missing something myself
