why have gambit/m3c been changing up there roles every off season? i feel like its hard for everyone to get comfy on there respective agents when they swap things around so often. thoughts?
they've been on these roles the whole year I think. I feel like traditional sentinel roles like cypher and kj have massively fallen off so it's more logical to have nAts on controller so he can lurk. Chronicle is their player with more fragging power imo so the chamber makes sense in that way. As nAts took smokes, redgar probably saw the flex role as the most convenient to igl from as we've seen from other players like fns. It's hard to say exactly why, this is just my theory.
Giannero [#2]I think it's their only option tbh, they're probably the most antistratted team out there
idk, it feels weird to see someone like sheydos play sova, when he has been there initiator/duelist-hybridflex for pretty much ever. tbh i dont see how an internal role swap (in this case between redgar and sheydos) helps them, to not get antistratted. maybe just my iron brain tho

Well, the main difference stands beetwen how each player will do something differently from the others, so if you for example, expect redgar to drone A main, sheydos drones mid (totally random examples), which will set them up differently

yea, i see what ur saying. im mainly talking abt sheydos on sova, instead of a more aggressive initiator, that he has been pretty much forever. also when i say this im not tryna bash redgar or anything, but sheydos has the god-like aim to play in that aggressive initiator role (2nd man-in) and thats just something that redgar doesnt have the way sheydos does. you get what im saying?
Maybe a problem teams like m3c and guard are having are they are forcing role changes. It works theoretically in scrims and environments with low pressure but in actual matches the players aren't as experienced or comfortable in their new roles. They're going to get less value in their utility and have a harder time adapting midround/throughout the game cuz they don't have the experience/comfort to make those decisions. Kinda just looks like the players are lacking confidence too and dk why, they're apparently both doing great in scrims recently so just nerves ig.

Redgar used to do wonders on reyna tho

Sheydos - Skye/Sage/Reyna/Yoru

Sheydos yoru?

yeah I get that, but I also feel like the kay/o/breach role is not that agressive of a role. Most of the time you're staying behind throwing flashes, knives, saving breach ult and aftershock, etc. If we look at teams from around the world, it seems like a lot of igls like that kayo/breach and maybe even skye role even if they don't always have the best aim to back it up. Fns, saadhak, boaster, dephh, etc. Also, in general I think the role of "sova main" is going to slowly disappear, most teams we're already opting for double flash initiators on a lot of maps, and with the sova nerfs and the release of fade I think we'll see each time less and less sova, at least on maps like haven, bind, etc.

d3ffo on chamber makes very little sense when there's no entry main asides from sheydos on reyna/yoru (c'mon bruh lmao). I don't think any of the other players have played raze or jett to a top level before

Fuck duelists meta! 3 initiators combo help much more the entire team to enter the sites than solo duelists. D3ffo is not an extremely talented duelist, so is better for him to awp since his is the best of the team with this gun

Bruv, my entire country/region played this shitty duelist meta for 2 years and we got nothing playing like that. I know what i'm talking about.
Only extremely talented aimers should play duelists.

What's great is that I don't even know if you're being ironic rn
