THAT WAS TIER 1 VALORANT.

Insane game from both teams.

There's a lot of discussion about who the most improved player might be, and there have been strong cases over the year.

Such as T1 Carpe. Everyone was hyped for his debut but it was really poor (even as a T1 fan), so much so, people were wondering if he was the best choice. Fast forward to September, and while T1 didnt have the best performances internationally, Carpe managed to be better than he was at the start of the year, pulling of crucial clutches and helping T1 get rounds that were drastically needed.

But even as T1 fan, my choice for MIP is EG c0m. It's a little obvious but also underplayed as to how valuable c0m has been. Even last year, Akrew c0m was considered good, not great. Even when EG signed him, he was considered innovative but not impactful. Even at the start of the year when EG looked awful, there have been talks that c0m was the weakest link and there are better replacements for him. But now, he became a crucial element to EG's success with his impact and innovation on a multitude of agents and now is considered one of the best Sovas in the world.

Read allat and put your choices for MIP.

Even tho MIBR are owned by the infamous IGC, NIP are too volatile for a partnership slot, they switched regions twice already.

M80 was founded this year and they are nothing compared to 100T, as a fanbase and as a profitable organization.

Crazy Raccoon kind of makes sense, I can't lie.

I'm assuming you meant NGX, which is Nigma Galaxy. But even then, they are nothing compared to what ZETA bring to the table. Fanbase, clout, profit, you name it; ZETA excel more.

SeliG is not good.

If you really think a Munchkin replacement is necessary then Margaret or Hermes are better bets.

The moment ZETA let Haven through, i knew they were going to lose, should they lose their first map.

Now that the dust has settled on their season, it’s time for a change.

  • crow (coaching)
  • tennn (move to sixth man)

/move Dep to TENNN’s role as flex

  • Xdll (young, hungry, high potential initiator) or + Anthem (make him live up to his potential and get him out of DFM)
  • Meiy (probably the only best Japanese Jetts available, and ZETA will pay bank to get him out of CR)

Roles:

Sentinel: Laz
Initiator: Xdll/Anthem
Duelist: Meiy
Flex: Dep
Controller: SugarZ3ro
Coaches: Junior and Crow

posted 9 months ago

Might've been a language barrier but that was lowkey funny.

Junior and Laz were taking a long time to pick and talking amongst themselves about how to play the remaining maps while Chet and FNS were getting annoyed.

Not an easy fight for T1.

But now that their confidence is back, they’ll make it out.

T1 2-1.

posted 9 months ago

T1 were abysmal against FUT so I hope to god they look marginally better today.

Honestly, I’m worried that they might even lose, but i do hope Saya and Munchkin can pull through for the win.

How good are EDG?

The EDG stocks are its peak rn.

Dep for sure
TENNN

There was a bit of hope but dear god, it’s the same old T1.

With GC going on, it got me the idea to put a twist to the same old WC threads.

Rule: MINIMUM TWO GC players on the starting roster.

So for Canada:
Duelist: Florescent (might sound crazy but she has a better agent pool than TenZ)
Controller: Marved
Sentinel/IGL: FNS
Initiator: Sarah
Flex: NiSMO

What’s crazy is that people think T1 is one of the weakest teams in the whole tournament, next to the Chinese teams (minus EDG.)

Let’s not forget that they were VERY close to beating NRG at Tokyo, and beat EDG in their first match.

T1 will absolutely put up a fight here, 2-0 T1.

  1. Chainsaw Man is alright. It’s a solid series but not thought provoking and intense like everyone says. The female cast (aside from Makima and Power to some extent) is one-dimensional as hell and somewhat bland.

  2. Fire Force is unwatchable garbage. There’s really nothing “creative” about it. The characters are very one-dimensional and sometimes really annoying, the way the series uses Tamaki’s “fan service” is extremely concerning, and the storytelling can get convoluted sometimes.

unironically, no something no win.

DRX 2-0 unless they fumble a map for whatever reason.

We’ve internally discussed holding off an article unless new information came out. But by the time it came out, we decided that the time already passed to write an article, thus going to NAM.

Don’t think we didn’t write one because we didn’t want to.

That being said, Rest In Peace Twisten. And for anyone out there, you are all loved by someone. Stay healthy and safe <3

I've seen a lot of hate on yay recently due to his performance at DSG. Many call him washed, Chamber one-trick, or a bad player.

Now about Demon1: he was rumoured to be a DSG pick-up, and he was brushed off as a bench tier 3 player when EG picked him up -- as many were clowning the organization for picking up such a player. Hell, some people were saying he was better off playing with DSG than EG. But look where he and EG are at now: a Masters AND Champions representative; EG made it this far because of Demon1, who frankly has been a demon due to a stable system around him. Now, the narrative has shifted that EG are nothing without Demon1 and will struggle at Tokyo without him.

Now imagine he did get picked up by DSG. Would DSG have done better with him? Maybe or maybe not, but one thing is certain: he wouldn't have had the same clout and in-game presence as he has now. He'd be a promising prodigy, but that's all he'd be, not the world-beater he is currently. But what about the current Demon1 on the current DSG? Oh, they'd STILL get relegated.

Valorant has taught us time and time again that a good coach matters and a good system matters. Look at how SO MANY teams (Sentinels are a great example) struggled because they didn't have one or the other. Yay is only one player out of five -- he alone can't carry a team. But I won't excuse that he doesn't look uncomfortable on Jett. He has not been performing up to par as many others. However, the argument that Derke, Aspas, Something, and even current Demon1 would carry DSG is honestly laughable. They'd struggle because they wouldn't have a functioning system around them, maybe even more than yay.

Is yay washed? Probably not. Is yay a bad player? Probably not. Is yay the reason DSG failed? Absolutely not. Would anyone else other than yay have made the current DSG marginally competitive? Absolutely not.

TL;DR: yay isn't why DSG failed; Demon1 wouldn't have the same level of presence as he has now on EG if he were on DSG.

My ideal format would be the 9th and 10th seed playing for a last spot in a 6 team bracket.

The winner of that last spot will play against the 6th seed in the 4th seed bracket, while 7th and 8th play in the 5th seed bracket.

Then the standard 6 team bracket.

FL CLZ to some extent but not a lot either.
IGZ GangPin had potential but a) he’s Korean and b) IGZ wanted to put him on flex for whatever reason.

Unless nationality doesn’t matter, then SZ Jemk1n and JDT iZu. These two are currently the top two Jetts in VCL Japan. They’re making strong cases to be picked up for next year.

If we’re talking subs, Alpha from CGZ. I’ve came across his stream once and he was ego peeking SO many duels.

But yes, Japan is in a dire need of an unhinged, insane Jett players.
