i'm sure it's been discussed before but why don't we have a bomb timer for streams/observers? seems like such a basic/simple thing to have to make watching the esports stream more enjoyable and accessible.

there's many things wrong (imo) with the current HUD and what is made visible to observers (and also the overlay that valorant esports uses) but i feel like this is the most basic and one of the easiest things to add to the streams.

i don't have their placements right. technically those teams range from 5th-12th but you get what i mean

just my opinion on the format but i'm not a fan of having another big 5-6 day ro256 tournament to determine who makes it into challengers (especially since it's only to determine 2 more teams and as a last chance qualifier)

instead i think a quarterfinals system would've been better and just allow the teams that placed (tied for) 3rd-5th from the open qualifiers to play:
3rd: The Nation / The Silk Road
4th: OREsports / Rat Attack
5th: Happy2bHere / The Ganaccis / Nearest Airport / NSIC

these teams were the next closest to qualifying and are the most deserving of being part of a "last chance qualifier"

highly unlikely imo. in competitive play cryo > tenz. 100T knows that someone who is more of a flex player is who they need as a 6th man. 100T tenz simply isn't happening unless he's retiring from pro play.

Or maybe swap roles with Asuna? I think if 100T goes out of LCQ they should experiment with that. If that doesn't work then Will for sure needs to go.

I was hoping Will would be better by this event, but this is awful. 100T won't make it anywhere without replacing him.

oh yeah nothing against VLR, this is completely on riot or the NA VCT management. it just doesnt make sense that 100t go right back into a rematch against faze imo

doesn't make much sense to me why the bracket works like this and 100t go here instead of vs nrg, but whatever.

idk why 100t is picking ascent, we havent been good on that map in ages

mad props to hazed this first map so far, showing up big when it matters most.

idk what the outcome would be, but i think tex and s0m should try switching roles. tex is the stronger rifler overall and would have a lot more potential with entrying on raze/neon/etc. not a bad idea to try, especially if they dont make playoffs here.
edit: not to say that tex's performance on chamber is one of the problems with NRG's recent performance. hard to really say what precisely is the problem with NRG currently, but a role swap could be beneficial to figure things out

well i had roughly the right maps. didnt expect this order though.

Statistically NV's top 3 maps are: Split, Icebox, Bind/Haven. NV have not played Breeze yet and have banned it at least once.
Statistically 100T's top 3 maps are: Ascent, Haven, Icebox. 100T have played Breeze twice and won it both times.
The bans will likely be 100T ban Split, NV ban Breeze.
The picks will likely be 100T pick Ascent, NV pick Icebox/Bind, 100T pick Haven.
Overall I think 2nd map will be close and 3rd map could go either way. So either a 2-0 100T or a 2-1 to either team. I don't see NV getting a 2-0.
