yeah keiko did great i didn't have him igld tho and i feel like i need to keep jawg igl just bc of the ag match up
im at 137 points which is top 1900 a lot better than i thought it would be tbh it was looking rough
my team for gw2 is
jawgemo igl
brawk
glyph
ivy
keiko
francis
how r you guys doing?
nothing against sen players but i hate that org and their 12 year old room temp iq fanbase
honestly NA valorant viewership died with tenz leaving so im glad hes back for that reason hopefully they are ok at least
nova is actually cooking up rn first alexrr then qiutian for obone and now zjc for im assuming heybay they can easily make it out of china with that team
im need to get a 6.5 controller do i get glyph or artzin?
i mean had there not been divine intervention blg would be at santiago i think that's what hes saying
foxy9 had to be babied in a system adjusted drastically for him. they literally had to teach munchkin to play like meteor because foxy9 was so terrible at lurking. and they needed to bring in suggest to teach him how to play around his defensive set ups which he still sucked at after.
basically korean inspire
best nongshim game was probably vs t1 but yeah the rrq game was fun too
10-0 in predictions but ofc says trent cant be g2s best player before the event even starts ðŸ˜
honestly just wait until stage 2 im sure lyon will qualify for play ins
i guess fnatic hasnt done anything since tokyo either
Hello KC i think you should throw a megabag at bonkar
then he will attract good players to your roster imagine
Sayf
Leo
Kicks
keiko
chiwa
bonkar
this team wins literally everything
c0m placed top 3 at the subsequent champs
jawgemo has won 3 regionals, played in a grand final, and has qualified to 4 internationals in a row
boostio took 100t to top 4 at a masters and won a regional
AG winning would probably be the most unexpected thing to ever happen to the game
how were eg frauds? all of the players besides demon1 have had success on their own
your team would have blown up and been irrelevant same as eg had mini not saved it
do you guys think we get it before or after stage 1? i really hope its before this meta is terrible
for better or for worse chinas league is holding this games regional viewership up right now i don't think riot will ever sacrifice that they will just hope they improve
i feel like a lot of people don't really know what chinas issues are and just see these lack luster performances so i thought id try to shed some light on it for those interested.
Early Franchising
China immediately entering franchised hurt their talent development drastically this is still prevalent in the league with a lot of players not really being tier 1 material when compared to other leagues but players with potential are sitting in tier 2 without a way to impact the region on a major scale
Hard to scout talent
Ties directly into the previous point but its extremely hard to scout in china the tier 2 leagues format is very obscure and isnt well documented on platforms like vlr and all of the china teams have academys as well but instead of being integrated into the tier 2 system like other regions they all just play each other with a completely different map pool than what the rest of the league is playing which makes it harder to pull up talent. this is the reason for the influx of imports in the region.
Lack of leadership
also ties into previous points but partly due to getting the game late china doesn't have many experienced igls or coaches which is why most of the successful teams in china have imported coaches with a better understanding of the game but even still many of these china teams arent able to get proper reps in matches and end up with misleading map stats heading into internationals
Constant travel
this is specific to this year but the teams in china are constantly travelling and arent able to practice in ideal conditions as well as riot not doing a great job at accommodating the teams
Language barrier
due to the influx of imports in the region most teams unless built with it in mind (xlg) have language barriers this obviously disrupts instant decision making and team cohesion and gets punished by the international teams that don't have these issues
i don't think any of these issue's will get fully resolved but i do think that the region will continue to have teams who peak at the right time (edg, wolves esc) but until riot restructures the league these issues are just too hard to fix
ppl who think lysoar is bad don't understand the game
ah yeah xlg players is cooked i mean they might be able to have good individual game against g2 but i doubt they can win unless g2 just fully imploded after that prx series
im also in the gutter i need t1 vs edg to be extremely close so smoggy and munchkin can get max kills and i need g2 to absolutely decimate xlg and then they need to avoid a nrg matchup so i have enough players in playoffs
im gonna go for edg i think they actually played better than the score suggests in the game against m8 but they threw key advantages against t1 i think its gonna be very scrappy and considering t1 got aim diffed by liquid im gonna go for edg
idk if they would improve but jemkin is definitely better than jingg and something
Reduxx - Primary Duelist
TenZ - Duelist/Flex
JonahP - Scan
johnqt - Smokes
cortezia - senti/flex
um ill support them if they play well but if we don't deserve to win then it is what it is
went pretty bad i have 53 total points and im guaranteed to have 1 player out tmrw. none of my players have qualified out of groups so if i get nrg vs g2 match up my vfl dies. hopefully u guys r doing better than me
bro proxh had a very bad time individually on m8 last year i don't see how you could say he is a upgrade
